Advice on digital photo frames

My wife has a lot of photos on my pc and wants to sort them out - print some, put some on a digital frame and delete a lot. For various reasons the best way for her to do this is using a digital frame, so my main question is whether it's possible to display the DCIM number on each picture.

Suggestions for other features to consider -screen size, defintion, picture quality, price etc - would be very helpful.
