which is the better processor

looking at new laptops but other than processors they are all pretty much the same (memory, ram etc all the same).

•Icon: Intel Laptop Processor : Celeron

or

Intel Core i3

or

AMD V-series V140

the laptop would only be for general homeuse and the odd internet game but no games which would be installed via cd-rom, no msn messenger (or similar things), but would be using skype

so any thoughts on which is the best option please

I3 every time

The Amd offering is single core pretty Ancient by todays standards the celeron is intels budget offering though you dont give any spec on it i:e speed and number of cores

but if it within your budget i would go I3
