Microsoft Security Essentials

Hello Wizards who help people,

I THINK I have got Microsoft Security Essentials installed and I THINK it is working okay. However, when I go to open it perhaps to start a scan, the window just flashes open for a second and then closes. Nothing I can do makes it stay open. Can anyone help?

try an uninstall and reinstall

As you are having other problems as well download this and give it a run to see what it finds.
