Adding an extra hdd

Hi.I have a desktop running windows 7,With two hdd.now the question is would it be possible to fit a third hdd?,the two existing ones are sata drives connected to the motherboard but there is no other socket on the motherboard to add another hdd,is there some other method to conquer my project without connecting an external hdd. Thanks.c.

Got a spare PCI slot?
A PCI sata card likethis one will d what you want
The one shown will also give another IDE port if required, you can get then without just google.
Check for room inside the case to mount your drive :0)
