PDF Print Problem

I'm hoping someone can help with a problem. It has been taking a long time to print PDF's to HP Deskjet. It appears that the PDF's expand many times in size. Eg. A 500 KB PDF file will expand to 30 MB or more (sometimes up to 100MB) when viewing the print queue. This causes the job to take up to 30 minutes to print. I run Windows XP Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any ideas on how I can resolve this issue?

What software are you using to print ? Adobe Reader 9 works well for me.

Same as. Adobe Reader 9.
