Windows Update

I have installed the following Windows update on my computer - Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2467175). Windows is now saying that there is an important update to install and when I check, I find that it is the same one.

How can I stop this happening?

Run the updates manually and when it shows click on it and a box should open underneath tick the box that says do not show this update again.

Are they the same? I downloaded the following update (to Windows 7) a couple of weeks back.

Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2467175)

Then a few days later the following appeared as an optional important update.

Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2467174)

Initially I thought they were the same and couldn't work out why I was being offered the same update. Then I realised they were different.
