Ashamed to have to ask.
How do I plonk the latest version of a green tick onto a thread?

When you get a reply to a thread there will appear a grey tick next to a response (below the likes). Click on it and it will turn green and this means resolved.
Don't be ashamed as it isn't obvious and the site lacks any explanation of how to do many things that have changed.

I had to go searching to see if anybody else had asked before I knew how to do it, as said it is not at all obvious!

Just to add that running IE9 and Vista and I find the ticks don't "stick" to a thread unless I run PCA in compatability view... weird but I tried several times unsuccessfully, changed to compatability view and it works straight off.
You think it worked but when you go back to main helproom index it hadn't attached.
