windows 7 password issue

Hi

I changed the password on my Windows 7 Samsung netbook, loggedoff my account and then put the netbook into hibernatio. I then came back and attempted to log on using the new passord which was not recognised, nor was the old one. That was 24 hours ago and I'm getting anxious. Solutions I've googled require a bootable CD/DVD which I dont have the luxury of and a USB boot doesnt seem to work. Help please!

Have you shut it down yet?

Try a reboot - keep tapping F8 to get up the menu system and try load last Known good configuration.
