I just put together a completly new build.
Mobo: Asus M4A79XTD EVO CPU: AMD Phenom II 4x3.2 RAM: 2x2GB 1600Mhz GPU: Radeon HD 5770 PSU: Corsair 700W (GS700) OS: Win7 Pro 64bit (Not yet installed)
Hard Drive is pluged via SATA cable and is connected to the PSU Same with the SATA CD Drive. Power cable to main board. I noticed that on my old PC there is a 4pin power cable going in next to the CPU, there is a 4pin slot next to my CPU on this board too, but I have no 4pin connectors coming from the PSU... I have a Creative sound card in PCI (number 2) and that is connected with 9pin and a 20 (or so) both connected to a creative front panel. This front panel also has a power connected from the PSU.
And my Radeon HD 5770 is in the 1st PCIx16 slot and has a 6pin power connector from the PSU.
When I turn on everything seems to work. But my monitor doesnt turn on.

You need the power cable for the CPU its not powering up, you should be able to get a Molex converter if you have extra Molex four pin plugs

Ok I found the 4pin connector. It was a 8pin one that can split in two 4pins. Now I am installing windows :)

Whoa there. 7 always validates on every boot up. Don't think Amazon would condone a pirated software. First of all, after booting and logging in, go to systems and see what it says in lower left hand corner, If it changer to validated and you get a green icon for 'Genuine Windows Products', or wording of the same, on the right hand lower side, then your 7 is OK.

Should have said ..if it changes to 'activated', not 'validated', then your 7 is ok. Ignore the green icon on the right hand side, at the lower side of the page, for Genuine Windows.. etc.
