Canon Printer "lines" at edge of page

Hi I have a Canon ip90 small portable printer. I don't use it much nowadays but when printing full page photos or pictures (on any type of paper) it has started to produce a couple of coloured lines down the length of the page at about 13mm from the long side. These are usually a yellow/green line and a red line about 1mm wide and 3 or 4 mm apart running for the full length of the printed area. In the case of a landscape photo about 13mm from the top of the photo. At the moment, it doesn't appear to do it on portrait prints even if they are full page ???

I bought a new print head to try and cure this problem but it has not done so, and I am using the latest drivers. It does the same when printing from an Xp machine or a windows 7 machine, and the same happens if printing from Photoshop or ACDsee.

Anyone any ideas?
