HP Deskjet F2480 Issues

Good Morning

I have recently purchased a HP Deskjet F2480 Printer. It just won't be picked up, when i plug it in i get to recognition bleep, and during the HP setup software from the website it keeps asking me to connect it, its just as if its not there. I have followed all instructions, tried it on both my pc and my laptop but nothing. What could be the problem?

PC Specs

Windows 7 64 Athlon X2 6000 GForce 8800gtx 4GB DDR3

Laptop

Windows 7 64 Athlon P320 Radeon HD 2400 3GB DDR3

Any support would be greatly appreciated
