profile locked out

I am running Windows 7 and I am locked out of my profile therefore cannot log on. There is not another user account I can use and log on to delete my profile. Any suggestions

As PC boots tap F8 and start in safe mode. Create a new user. reboot and log in as new user and continue from there.
