Display breaking up when online, fine otherwise ?

Just recently purchased a new Samsung i3 laptop and all of a sudden the display breaks up slightly ? When I click off and to the desktop it stops.

Any ideas what the could be as it affects Chrome and IE. Its running windows 7 home premium and hasnt been damaged in any way.

Has your laptop got an Nvidia graphics card?

There have been issues with some of the Nvidia drivers with windows 7. If you do a Windows Update the Nvidia drivers should be updated. Assuming that's what graphics card you have of course.
