Either go to tools.Internet options.Advanced and press reset which should fix any problems on IE9. Or go to add remove.Turn Windows features on or off. If IE9 is ticked untick it and wait for it to remove it. IE/8 should then take over providing you had it on your computer.

Hi Buteman,

When I removed IE9 the way you have said, it removed it fine but did not restore IE8 that I was useing before.

I finished up with no browser installed and had to do a csystem restore.

Regards

Russell

I'd install Google Chrome and forget about IE9. If you really must you can then use Chrome to download and run IE8 after you've removed IE9. But Chrome is a better and faster browser.
