format help needed

how do i format my c drive with 2 operating system's systems. every time i try to format it, it just replaces one of operating systems for another without deleting the entire drive. i'm stuck as my hard drive is always full. I've tried to format through ms dos but no luck. is there anyone out there that can help please??

First you cannot format your drive when in windows, You have to do it using Windows Disc from boot
