Someone sent me a Word .doc file as an attachment but if I try to open it (in Word) the page is blank apart from some characters down the centre of the page - however in this state going into 'print preview' shows the document as it should ebe and it prints OK. Running XP. Any ideas please. DG

Have you saved the attachment to your HDD first as a free standing document?
Has the typeface colour been change to white?
