Hmmm, had me fooled for a moment, looks so clean and crisp that I thought swmbo had done a spring clean. Well done to all, so far so very good!!

Major problems here with XP Home SP3 FF 3616. All I get is this, Done all the usual with CCleaner + system restore. Only managed to get what I assume is the correct format by typing in the site address in Google Chrome. I don't suppose for one moment that the link above works. Suggestions urgent please.

Watch out for that little tick box. I came home to 100 e-mails as I left it ticked, only posting now to hopefully unsubscribe. Agree it would be better to opt in.

We're going to change the 'subscribe' function, so it opts you out by default.

That will resolve your tick problem.

I'm sorry you don't like the new look, and you're right, it can't be undone.

Perhaps when you use the site for a while you'll find yourself feeling better about it. That certainly happened when we last launched a revised version. We had a lot of people saying they didn't like that new look at the time, and perhaps some of them are the same people who now say they preferred the old version.

Shock, Horror when I clicked on to website for my daily view to find this new website! Why no warning/pre-conditioning that this was about to happen? As a seasoned professional change manager in engineering the first rule is educate your workforce of impeding changes and don't go for the 'big bang' approach which always causes resentment and resistance. When I tried to log in I received a long string of error reports.PCA should thrash out the problems before implementation. Solution to bright white website, wear sunglasses, it works.

Ref my 1009. It seems to have been Adblock plus that was causing the problems. Unchecked all refs to PCA and Voila. Will now study the new site.

Hi FE

I am experiencing a strange phenomena with the 'Post' button. Initially I only guessed that's what it was, as half of it is hidden by the pale grey border. However, once clicked, the whole thing becomes visible. G1

Just posting this to see if it will unsubscribe me!

BTW = re the lack of an edit facility.

On many other forums which allow this it:

A) Only applies to the current posting and,

B) It is very time limited, usually only a few minutes,to allow you to correct any typo's.
