Ethernet still using power after computer shutdown

I have a Realtek PCIe GBE family controller ethernet adaptor (built-in to motherboard) on my new computer from Arbico.

It is working fine but when I shutdown my computer the router goes from a green light to an orange light. Does this mean it is still using power?

On my old computer it used to go from green light to totally off when I shutdown.

If I physically turn off the power plug to the computer THEN the router light totally turns off. How can I get it to turn off without having to do this please?

This is normal for all modem motherboard with an Ethernet port that is build onto the motherboard

The Ethernet port keep the link live by polling the modem / router port and help to speed up access to the Internet

“How can I get it to turn off?”

By unplugging the computer from the electrical outlet

My USB speakers, PS2 mouse and something inside the computer case were all remaining lighted up after shutdown as well.

Found a solution that doesn't involve physically turning off any power sockets.

Went into ASUS BIOS by pressing Del at startup

In the Power menu selected APM Configuration

EuP Ready option was on Disabled by default - changed it to Enabled

Now when I shutdown all the lights go out like they are supposed to.
