I have a belkin n+ router and I have set it up using the disk. I have internet access but my browsers {IE8, firefox) can't find the router's IP address. IP is 198.168.2.1 and OS is MX.Help please.

Sorry, my mistake. 192.168.2.1 is what I tried.

Run IPCONFIG /ALL in a Command Prompt window and this will display details of all network adapters in the PC. Look for the "Default Gateway" address, which will be your router's IP address. Go to "Start > Run", type...

cmd.exe /k ipconfig /all

...and click OK. Traditionally Belkin have used 192.168.2.1, but I believe some of their latest models may use a different address.

Thanks. I ran ipconfig/all and it told me that Default Gateway is 192.168.2.1
