Toolbar at bottom of screen - double size

I use Opera as my browser. Run with XP Home SP3. Somehow, I have doubled the depth of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen where the "start" button is. I have tried clicking and dragging downward without success.

Can anyone please tell me how to get my toolbar back to single depth. Thanks.

You need to right-click the Taskbar and deselect "Lock the Taskbar". Then you can drag it down to the proper depth - then relock it.

Hi Sea Urchin - thanks for responding. "Lock the Taskbar" has no tick next to it, but it still wont drag down.

Me again, just to let you know I have managed. Seemed I was clicking and dragging in the wrong place. Doing it next to the Start button and it worked.

Thanks again. Have now locked the "Taskbar"

It shouldn't matter where you drag from - but it needs to be on the exact edge so that you get the double-headed arrow.

Glad it's sorted now.
