Can you embed a application (.exe) in a website?

I was woundering if you could embed a application in a website so you could go on to the website and acess the application online ?

and use it remotely, on another computer. That's what happens in an office network environment, when you run application servers.

What you mustn't attempt to do is run applications on a server for anybody to use if you don't have a distribution licence from the software company that developed the application.

Perhaps that's not what you had in mind, and if you explain what you have in mind in more detail we'll respond. In any event, you wouldn't be embedding anything in a website - the application would need to be installed and running on a server.
