Prints made on Ilford Printasia paper (Photo Glossy paper) using the Canon i470D printer, with the print preferences set to high quality. 24 hours after producing the prints the image came off if wiped with a wet finger. Any advice appreciated.

Try Choice Stationery for Glossy Photo Paper. It is Instant Dry. I use it all the time and have had no problems whatsoever. click here

Yes, as huggyg71 says. Most standard ink is water based so it is inevitable that if it gets water on it (either from wet fingers or you spill your drink over it) it will smudge. You could try buying pigment ink.

I have just printed a photo using the paper from Choice. I have drawn a wet tissue across it and it does not smudge.
