When in the program you are printing from:
- Select 'Print' in the menu
- When the panel opens select 'Properties' and the 'Layout' tab
- set the 'Orientation' to 'Portrait' click 'OK' and 'OK' agin to print.
OR
- Go to 'Control Panel' and find your printer (in 'Devices & Printers' in W7; 'Printers & Faxes' in XP)
- Double click the printer icon
- Proceed as in '2' and '3' above.

The solution will work if you carry out the changes in Control Panel.
