Hi,
I have windows 7 home edition and wife wants a 13" macbook pro. If my Office 2010 has a spare license on it can she use the same office 2010 on her macbook with the spare licence or does apple use it's own office version which she'll need to buy? If so are both apple and windows office suite compatible in that anything word/excel etc I email her she can open and ammend on her macbook?
Thank you

You cannot install the 2010 Windows version office on the Mac , what you need is this 1 licence 2011 Mac version Microsoft office click here or 3 licences 2011 Mac version Microsoft office click here
You won't have compatibility problem between these two office versions & word/excel etc & can email your wife & she can open and ammend on her macbook.
