Yoshiba laptop and Epson projector

My Toshiba laptop is running Windows XP and Office 07. Lately, when I connect it to the projector, and open Power Point, I get a dialog window that I can't close; therefore, I can run my presentation in full screen mode. I can't go to help. It just freezes there. It only happens when connected to the projector.

What does the dialog window say?

It is a dialog box about hiding a slide, deleting a slide, etc.
