Until recently there was always a "mini dashboard" for Norton Internet Security on the desktop of my Acer Aspire running Windows 7. In the last few days this has vanished and its disappearance coincides with installing the latest Ad-Aware free release, v10. (Actually, although I clicked on the download for the free version, what was downloaded and installed tuned out to be the 30-day trail professional.) When I installed the new download, a warning came up about possible "clashes" with Norton, but I ignored this. I found the new Ad-Aware intrusive and uninstalled it, and this was when the Norton "mini-dashboard" also disappeared. Does anyone what to do to reinstate it on the desktop? Presumably, unintsalling and re-intsalling might work, but I will have almost a year's updates to download then
