I take it that it is not your machine.
BIOS passwords on laptops are kept on a chip and therefore cannot be got rid of by resetting BIOS
Ask the owner for the password.

Flashing the BIOS wouldn't be a bad place to start.

Yes it would, BIOS password is kept on a separate chip in laptops see here

Hi,
When your HP laptop has problems in booting properly, you would have to reset the BIOS.
You would have to follow certain steps in order to reset BIOS.
First you would have to reboot your HP laptop.
Then until you see the set-up message on your laptop’s screen you would have to press the ‘F1? button on your keyboard.
After that so as to select the factory settings option you would have to press 'F5' button.
Then press 'F10' so as to exit the set-up.?

How many more bad sites are you going to post on here.
Your bottom post
http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/supportforhp.iyogi.com
Not just on this thread but on other threads as well you keep posting bad sites.
Maybe start using WOT or McAfee Site advisor or anything like that.
It does not help when folk are trying to sort out problems on there computers and you keep posting bad sites.
I am not saying you are doing it deliberately but it would help if you posted good sites with less chance of getting any problems.
