Superantispyware Problem?

Hi folks.
A few days ago I downloaded the update to Superantispyware. Since then I've had some problems. It will not open, and nor will Windows Explorer. Indeed, every time I try to use Explorer, it freezes. Every time I boot up, it alerts me to a seemingly ficticious homepage change.
I have tried to remove the program in Programes and Features to no avail.
Anyotn know how I can get rid of it?

Thanks but when I try this it looks like it will install, then says it will remove the existing installation to put the new one on, then nothing.

There has been a problem with the latest version of Superantispyware and W7.
The problem has been fixed.
Re-download from developers site - although, confusingly, the "fixed" version has the same version no. as the faulty version.

I did a system restore which seems to have solved it, along with a WMP problem I was having.
I'm wary of downloading it again I must admit.
