XP Home SP3. This is the .NET 3.5 SP1 and .NET 3.5 Family update of yesterday. I have tried twice manually and once more on shutdown. Is there a known problem or do I not need it? Thanks.

Yet when I do a Windows search ,the 3.5 SP1 folder and all contents is listed and dated Aug. 2009.

when I do a Windows search ,the 3.5 SP1 folder and all contents is listed and dated Aug. 2009. Though it shows the Folder check inside for new dates you installed it, if you find none then its not loaded the updates, you need to set folders and file to show dates in Windows Explorer

In Windows Explorer That's by Pressing the Windows Key plus E key then look under View it should be set to Details. If dates not showing go to Tools/Folder Options

The only dates I can find are 2008 and 2009. The folder is in Win/.NET folder Perhaps I will select the update to be hidden, otherwise I am going to keep being reminded of it.
