What's the best (and easiest to use) free software to download and save YouTube videos to my PC?

When I have watched one and like it, I just open the browser cache find the file (large one with recent time stamp) drag it to the desktop - rename it and add .flv check its watch-able by double clicking then move it to whatever folder I wish to keep it in.
