disk tray keeps popping out...

ive had trouble free computing for a while now, started the computer today and the dvd disk drive keeps popping out...

i shut it, it pops out, i shut it it pops out...

i dont have WMP or any ither media player on, ive not tried to insert a cd or dvd or anything else

do i have a one of those funny viruses that doesnt cause harm, just *!@:es you off?

Maybe nothing more than a faulty drive.

Drive try alignment out of sync.

Just give it a tug when its fully out then close and retry

Remove your DVD drive Burning software from Add Remove Programs, and all references in Windows Explorer then reload the software, it may work this way without going into regedit

You could also try right clicking the drive in my computer and choose close

fruit bat went for your suggestion first, gave it a tug, shut it, gave it a dunt...
restarted the comp and it hasnt done it again

played a dvd and have removed the dvd and its bee shut since then...

weird!
