Sony walkman not accepting playlists from WMP

First of all,apologies if this is the wrong forum;
Ever since doing a repair to my XP Pro(sp2)a few months ago,my Sony Walkman NWZ-E443 isn't storing the playlists created by WMP11.
I can use the content transfer program to just put music folders on,but with 100's of mp3's,I prefer to have playlists as before.WMP will create playlists with no problem,but the Walkman isn't storing them.
If it helps,it is showing in"My Computer"but not Explorer.Has anyone got suggestions or ideas please on how I can solve this? I'll check for replies later today.Many thanks in advance.
