My sister has a Packard Bell Intel(R) PC
Celeron (R)
CPU 2.80 GHz
2.79 GHz
448 MB of RAM.
I have a 512 MB DDR 400MHZ CL3
184 pin DMM Ram card spare.
Do you think that this will fit?

If you use the Crucial click here or Kingston click here RAM tools they will tell you what type and how much the PC will take.

Yes I think it would. Original is either PC3200 at 400mhz or PC2700 at 333mhz.
Yours will work with either. Some only had two slots and both may be used but yours plus an original will show an improvement.
As johndrew said either of these links will give the answer although as I have experienced with Crucial not always right. On one PC it said that I had three slots of which one unused yet I only had two slots.
