Nvidia cannot find drivers

Uninstalled all old drivers, fitted new video card. Went to Nvidia site and they scaned to find the correct driver. Downloaded drivers, ran program. It came up with "Cannot find drivers" What's going on.
Please help.

Just download the right driver for your OS direct from Nvidia click here using the manually find drivers option, then click on the installer after switching off any anti virus programmes

I downloaded and ran the program, it seemingly loaded with all the drivers but I have a yellow marker in Device Manager and it says it says "Code 10" "this device will not start"
Any advice?

Did you reboot?
What graphics card is it?
If you right click Display Adapters in Device Manager and select Properties then click on the General tab, does it "Use this device (enable)" at the bottom? And on the Driver tab does it list Nvidia as the driver provider and is it using the driver you installed, something like 6.14.11.7519 with a date of 09/07/08

It is a Geforce Fx 5200-8x 128M DDR 128Bit.
Driver provider is NVIDIA
Driver date is 02/05/2008
Driver version 6.14.11.7516
Use this device ( enable ) is at the bottom.

What exactly is "Code 10 - this device will not start" beside in Device Manager?
Your graphics card has the right driver and it is obviously working if you can get the info I requested.
Do you have onboard graphics as well?

Thank you for all your help. In the end I was told that the 5200 -8 wouldn't run in an AGP 4.
Perhaps I should get advice before I purchase stuff.
Thanks again.
