Wireless woes

  Daveym 21:08 11 Dec 07

I have a Belkin Wireless modem router which connects to my Toshiba Vista laptop no problem. My daughters Toshiba laptop with vista will not connect. Both laptops are using the same built in network adapters but hers cannot see a network which is literally 12 feet away. On a couple of occasions it has connected but mostly it can't find one. Any ideas please???

Toshiba use their own software to control wireless networking , called Config Free ( of course you know that already ) try disabling it and use Vista to control things instead .
