nope , but there appears to be nothing important in it over and above the updates we already have .one of the updates we got tuesday from windows update was needed before sp1 can be installed so expect the full release soon ,few weeks at most .
quite a few over at MDL (my digital life) forum have tried it and nothing worth reporting .

there appears to be nothing new in it, no point in downloading as a pre release.

That's pretty well what I thought and, hopefully, there will be less risk when it is finally RTM;-)

so rc is beta i am gueesing and rtm is the complete finel version am i right?

  bremner 15:42 06 Nov 10

RTM is Release to Manufacturer.

It is the final version given to manufacturers so they can pre-install on their products.

The Retail version in the shops is basically RTM + packaging but as with this incidence click here the final version released to the public may be very slightly upgraded.

ok, so rc is the one that you download?
or am i just getting confused?

  bremner 16:02 06 Nov 10

RC - The Release Candidate - is a beta. It may be the last beta but it is still a beta.
