Windows System Freeze and BSOD

So.. I have a 5 - year old Asus U56E running Windows 7 Home Premium. Yesterday, I was using it like usual (Internet browsing, nothing graphics - intensive) and the problems started. The mouse pointer froze, and wouldn't respond to either my USB mouse or the touchpad. After about 10 seconds, the taskbar and all the desktop icons disappeared. When I tried to Ctrl-Alt-Del, nothing happened. After a few seconds, I got a BSOD which stayed on-screen for a couple of seconds.

After that, the computer rebooted to this screen.

When I rebooted the computer, I got options to boot into Safe Mode or to Start Windows Normally (the screen we normally get when the power dies or something).

When I start Windows normally, it crashes about 30 seconds after I log in, giving me the 2 screens above.

When I boot into Safe Mode, I can use the internet and stuff without anything happening. When I try to copy files using Windows Explorer, the mouse pointer freezes for a few seconds and then the taskbar and all icons disappear, with Ctrl-Alt-Del not working.

I ran a rootkit scan using Kaspersky's tool, did a scan with Malwarebytes, ran a CHKDSK on both HDD partitions, and tried to use the System File Checker tool (SFC /SCANNOW). The log is in this link - system file check log

Can anyone help? There are some really important files on my HDD and even though I have a backup, I really don't want it to crash. :)

your links to screens aren't working

we need the BSOD code number

as its ok in safe mode then its likely to be a device driver causing the problem.
