windows start up

i have a new tishiba laptop running windows vista when i try to boot up nothinh happens no switch light just 2 small lights is ther anything i can do to re-boot

If it's really new, i.e. a few weeks old, I'd take/send it back and demand a replacement or a refund.

As burrwalnut says...take it back.


Try booting into safemode first,tapping F8 on startup and select Last Known Good Configuration.Thats assuming it will boot at all.....

If it dose not even power up,its likely to be a hardware fault.
