I bought this netbook around August and bought Windows 8 around November. Since then none of the apps will work, saying my screen resolution is to low. This is a problem among most netbooks and when I try the Display1_DownScalingSupported method but when I search nothing is found. Please help!

The Spec of your computer is not compatible with windows 8.

I should point out Laptops with Windows 8 come with Windows 8 RT version.

No they don't. RT is for ARM processor devices.

Make sure you have the correct Windows 7 display driver from Gateway installed first. Or if that doesn't work with the hack try a driver from the graphics manufacturer.
