Windows 8 not saving captured Screenshots in Pictures folder

Unless Windows has changed, it has never captured Screenshots in the Pictures Folder.

You need to "Paste" the Screen shot into a suitable programme and save that

go into your apps, select sniping tool, towards the end in my apps in win 8.1, right click and decide where you want to save it, mine is pinned to the taskbar, open the sniping tool, select new, once you have selected the area you want, file then save as, I use desktop then I can move it where I want but you can select your picture folder, hope this helps

Lordy, what a palava.

Hit the "Print Screen" Button > Open "Word" (other similar programs are available) > Hit "Paste" . Job done
