Windows 8 and downloaded Essentials

I have downloaded Windows Movie Maker into Windows 8 from Microsoft. I understand it is part of the Windows Essential Suite. The screen says it has downloaded successfully and that my Essentials is up to date, but ... Where is it?

I cannot find Essentials or Movie Maker anywhere on my PC, no icon, nothing.

Where does it put it?

Perhaps it's installed but hiding from you - try this simple way to search for it:

Make sure you're on the Start Screen (with all the big coloured tiles) then simply start typing movie maker. Hopefully the program will appear at the top. If you want you can right-click it then choose "Pin to Start" and/or "Pin to Taskbar" so it's immediately available for the next time.

That worked, thanks! Amazing!

I really hate Windows 8, this is a typical example of it being so hard to use. I really cannot fathom out what purpose that 'Start' window serves at all.

Thanks a million for the help.
