Win 7 windows explorer hierarchies

Hi. Dell Vostro, 4gb ram, Win7 pro. I'm finding I've got loops into loops when seeking documents and photos etc. I probably didn't instal 'My Documents' correctly in the first installation. I'd like to wipe my HDD and start again. Can anyone assist me in identifying the correct point in the windows explorer hierarchy to instal my backup of 'My Docs'. T I A

Are you perhaps 'getting in a tangle' with the Libraries function? It can be a bit of a nuisance. In Windows Explorer, I tend not to go via Libraries and instead click on my Username and then open folder 'My Documents'

So, I would think your correct windows explorer hierarchy will be:

click on the Globe at bottom left

click on your username

click on 'My Documents' in the lefthand pane to expand the view.

Lotvic, I'm definitely getting into a tangle. I'll try your suggestion and see how I progress. Thanks.
