Since installing WIN7 HOme Premium SP1 I have noticed in the bottom right hand corner of the screen above the task bar "Test Mode - WIN 7 - Build 7601".
Has anyone else had this occur and what does it mean please?

Try going to start, all programs, windows update and try the auto update again. If nothing then do a reboot.

Is windows activated?

If it is you can try this:

Open a cmd window with administrator rights and run this command:

Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF

Reboot the PC and the test mode should go away.

Thanks for suggestions. Have tried each of them but the notice is still there.
Maybe I will just have to forget about it for a while. Am also having problems with HP printer software not working properly - after a month of email exchange with HP have now been advised that Windows must be corrupted! Am considering my next move before I go to the length of reinstalling Windows!
