Where is notebook?

A silly thing, but I can't find Notebook in my Toshiba Vista laptop.

I want to copy and paste some text into it to remove the extra code before copying and pasting into Expression Web.

Is there an alternative?

Thanks for any help.

It is called Notepad and if you can't find that look for Wordpad. If you can't find either use your word processor.(If you've got one)

Thanks, Pineman, but I can't find wordpad either BUT I am not sure how to do a search on the computer. If you click on the lhcorner globe and write notebook in the search box, it seems to look for things online. How can I do a search just on the computer?

Ah.... I have just tried this again, to double-check - and guess what? The Notepad window came up!! The same thing happens with wordpad. They have added themselves to the start menu. Magic!

If you have "run" enabled (right click the taskbar and choose properties) on the start menu it's easy to start up those little apps like notepad, paint and the calculator:

MSPAINT

NOTEPAD

CALC

WORDPAD
