Where Does Vista Store programmes

I have just downloaded some trial programmes from Adobe.

By convention where does Vista normally house these?

Normally under c:Program Files

Thanks Pine Man.

As someone new to Vista I wanted to get it right, but what my computer was actually telling me was that the file needed to be unzipped before it could be installed in Program Files!

If the download is a Zip archive, then you would have to extract its contents first. There would then usually be a file to install the software and this will be called something like Setup.exe

You wouldn't normally put any files into "C:\Program Files" manually yourself.
