Where are temporary internet files kept?

In XP I used to be able to view all files downloaded whilst browsing the internet, in a "temporary internet file". I could also specify the location of this file.
In Vista, I cannot find a file anywhere.
Can you help?

Apparently they're here:

C:\Users\<<username>>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
You may need to show hidden/system files first

And you CAN alter the folder. Internet Options and halfway down the first tab is the one you want - Browsing History

Thanks for the reply. However, I have located a "Temp" list (not Temporary Internet) which still contains downloaded files that have been browsed.
Why does this data not delete using Mozillas Clear history facility?

Mozilla? You using Firefox?

Yes, because I found IE7 to be very slow.

Ah...that would alter where the files are then. Didn't say in original post. No worries.

Don't use Firefox, so I'm about as much use now as a chocolate kettle.
