When Opening the Desktop There is Mysterious Background Sound

On startup, there is a “thu-dum” that sounds like a warning. So far, I have no software or hardware issue. However, when I boot up to my desktop sometimes I get that "thu-dum" sound. Does anyone know what is causing it?

Have you check your system sounds settings?

Sorry, I forgot to update. I discovered that Dell’s lousy Support Assist preinstalled diagnostic tool was slowing my desktop PC and interfering with the live connections on the internet, so I removed it. Now, my PC is faster and I get the live connections on the web. Thanks for your response…
