Wacom Graphire 3 mouse slowing down

  BrianW 14:14 11 Feb 08

I've just got a new machine which has Vista Home Premium on it (I'd been using XP 2 before).

I seem to have most programmes working OK but have an odd problem with my Graphire 3 mouse.(I've got the latest Vista drivers loaded)

When I start using it the mouse reponse is rapid and as set. After a few minute of use in photo-manipulation progs (Canon DPP, PSP X2 etc) it slows down to a crawl. Similarly after browsing the internet the same thing happens (oddly - PC Advisor seems to really slow it!)

"Refreshing" doesn't make a difference and I'm completely baffled as to what is going on.

The Wacom site has nothing on this so I wondered if anyone here has met the same problem or got any solutions?

Oddly with things like a mouse the generic drivers are sometimes best. Try uninstalling the Wacom drivers and plugging the receiver back in again to see if the generic drivers are found and it works OK.
