Vista recovery partition problem

  celticbhoy0 01:04 12 Jun 07

I run a dual boot system with Vista & Ubuntu 7.04.
While messing about trying to set up a virtual swap disk for linux on an old flash mp3 player, I managed to erase, corrupt, or format the boot section of my Vista partition. When I booted into the recovery partition, and ran a utility was listed as a BOOT UP FIXER, the util fixed the boot up for the recovery partition, so that now to load vista I select the recovery partition and vista boots normally using the boot sequence from the recovery partition. If I open my computer and enter the recovery partition, Vista says I dont have administrator rights to enter the folders, even though the user account has admin privileges.

Anyone any ideas ????
