I recently upgraded from XP pro to Vista Ultimate I know realise what a massive mistake this was as I am plagued with one problem after another!

Is there anyway I can simply uninstall the upgrade and return to my trusty old XP Professional?

Please please please someone tell me I can!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hopeing there was just an uninstall option like there was when I updated 98 to XP

Nope.

You will have to totally clean the hard drive with a third party formatting tool and then go for a full new install of XP.

What I feared, boy I wish I'd never heard of Vista!

Join the queue. There is a lot for whom it has not gone well.

I must be lucky. My upgrade is OK.
